Sea World of Florida - Killer whales Shamu and Namu splash waves of excitement into the crowd with breathtaking displays of grace and beauty during "Shamu Adventure." To learn more about The Shamu Adventure visit shamu.com. The park is open year-round with varying operating hours and days. "Shamu & Crew" is one of several initiatives that SeaWorld and its sister parks, Busch Gardens, are developing for the kids audience. The targeted effort includes a television special and associated Internet sweepstakes, youth environmental awards and the Emmy Award-winning educational series "Shamu TV." The television special "Sea World/Busch Gardens Adventures: The Hidden Key" will air June 13 and 27 on Nickelodeon. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex provides an exhilarating and educational experience of the space program. Featuring an actual 363-foot, 6.2 million pound Saturn V moon rocket, with a dramatic recreation of the first manned Apollo launch, and hands-on exhibits, the Apollo/Saturn V Center brings to life the U.S. space program’s missions to the moon. See the rockets that launched astronauts and machines into space including a Mercury Redstone, similar to the one that carried Alan Shepard into space. Another special vehicle in the collection is an awe-inspiring Mercury Atlas identical to the rocket that carried John Glenn into space for America's first orbit.
