Rocks Beach! What can I say about Indian Rocks Beach? First and for most I
live here and I love it. What a great place with a interesting history. Of
course you must already know that the Indians use to stop fighting when there
was a storm brewing and rush to Indian Rocks for safety. What do you think of
that? I loved that when I learned it.
Indian
Rocks Beach is a town of about 3000 or more people that are from all walks of
life. At one time this was the town that the hired help lived in. The waiters
and waitresses, the house cleaners and hospital workers, the teachers, the
firemen and the police officers, all the people that worked to keep our area
alive for the tourists. This at one time was mostly a vacation area but now
it's different.

So many people have come to live here full time.
The area is sparkling with energy. But this is still a town of the working
people. The schools are around the corner in Largo and Seminole. So are the
hospitals and the grocery stores. But Indian Rocks Beach has it share of
entertainment and fun. We are a little city of artists. Properties

So
many artists live here. We have the BEACH ART CENTER that has exhibitions,
classes and workshops. It's open to anyone who wants to support and promote an
appreciation art and craft work of all kinds. It's a great little place. There
is also the INDIAN ROCKS AREA HISTORICAL SOCIETY where you can go and learn all
about the Indians and his weapons, attire and early relics. The museum is
entirely supported by its volunteer members. Property

city is full of charming cottages and little stores and restaurants and of
course the wonderful, beautiful beach that even in season is fun to be on. We
have our own fire department and city hall and post office. You might want to
make a special trip to Indian Rocks. Like me you may never leave.
